Long time since I last uploaded anything, but here's what I've been working on for the past weeks. It's a vintage-styled soda-themed Tec-9, featuring the (fake) brand; 'CS-Cola'!

Thoughts on the design process:
This skin actually started out completely different, as they sometimes do. It still had its silvery top and red base, but I wanted to make more of an old red, black and white checkered racecar / Warhammer orks inspired gun. The original idea was to have the magazine shiny like the top part, with some red paint over some of it. However I soon discovered that it wasn't possible, so I had to change the plan. I started by covering everything in red apart from the shiny metal, and the black and white checkers I had made. Instead of the old racecars, it made me think more of the old 1950's concept of red, and sometimes chrome rocketships. That in turn made me think of old posters with these rocketships on, and similar posters of other vintage products, like soda. After a series of very different versions, this is the design I settled on.
