Berlin S-Bahn ET/ES 165 "Stadtbahner" (2 car)

DRG Class ET/ES 165 (DR 275, DB 475) EMU of the Berlin S-Bahn.

The asset resembles a late version of the "Stadtbahn" type featuring separated East-DR-style lights, line color coding and a re-converted control car allowing for stand-alone operation of a two car quarter train.

With illumation map and headlights for after dark. Driver cabin stays dark. The line indication panel changes color according to the train's line.

Added support for vehicle effects: If you subscribe to both, Vehicle Effects and Extra Vehicle Effects, you get:

• Electric motor sound crossfading multiple samples across the rpm range (video)
  
• Switching head and rear lights
  
• Braking sound, speed dependent
  
• Wheel flange grinding/squealing in curves (depending on radius and speed)
  
• Door closing sounds

The main colours are RAL 3004 purple red and RAL 1001 beige, which should have been used for the longest period. I also tried RAL 3003 ruby red and RAL 1002 sand yellow, but it rendered far too saturated and bright in game.It is hard to find consistent information about which colours were used at a time, if you know a more correct combination of RAL or TGL colours, please let me know. On the other hand, the games's color grading will ruin any fine-tuning anyway...

Expect further variants in the near future, including original condition trains (single head lamp, rear lights over roof height), trailer cars converted from control cars and real trailer cars. Long-term plans include "Oranienburg" and "Olympia"/"Bankier" types as well as DR modernisations.
