Description
The largest, most complete set of modern, American freight trains on the workshop!

A modern American freight train for your city! Includes multiple custom intermodal freight cars, and is set up to feature automatic weathering, realistic nod and tilt levels, and more! This train is roughly double the length of trains in the stock game, so some visual glitches may occur at stations, but the more realistic length looks better everywhere else.

If you don't like the long trains, there are 8 car versions available on my workshop!

What's included?
Custom locomotives (1024x textures, ~1700 tris)
Custom freight cars (1024x textures per car, < 750 tris per car), textures will be shared x9 with Loading Screen Mod
Custom sound effects - use Vehicle Effects for custom engine, bell, and horn sounds, as well as exhaust! Use Extra Vehicle Effects to get even more train sounds like flanges, brakes, and more!

Why don't you do real life liveries? / Can you do *real life livery here* for me?
I just really prefer making up my own versions. It gives me some flexibility in the UV map, and also lets me have fun making up something new, something funny, something that pays tribute to a YouTube series that I like (or make), and it means that I can do a bit less research instead of having to find exact real life liveries of everything.

I encountered a simulation freeze issue which is apparently caused by using the following mods together with some of the cargo trains in the @bsquicklehausen collection. I have not isolated to problem to a specific asset but it must be one of the cargo trains.

- Optimised outside connections
- TMPE
- More vehicles
- More PathUnits
- ETST
- Railway Replacer
- Rebalanced industries

The simulation just freezes while the game UI keeps functioning. I found the problem to disappear when unsubscribing from these train assets, after extensive testing including re-adding multiple mods one by one, and full reinstall of the game.

It has to be said that the bsquicklehausen are among the coolest on the workshop and that this is likely just a technical glitch likely caused by the combination of assets and mods I use.

how do i activate these?

I'm have this issue where once in a while when I load in, the cars are like gapped and the engines are missing but it still moves. It's happened on three saves now. I have to wait like 1 day IRL before trying to play the save again where the trains look and spawn how they should. Any solutions or ideas?

It loads up, but I can only see some of the intermodal cars if I look at the train with the corner of my eye. And I can never see the engines, anyone know why?

Back again apparently cause I wanted to leave a thumbs up, I wanted a realistic length freight train going through my town I just started and I couldn't be more pleased with it, love watching it go through.

@mikmoen - That is this asset, but that error should not be breaking simulation. I believe that saving your file again will help LSM adjust to the new name and the error should fix itself.

That's what the report says. The number is this asset's page. Then again I've done more digging into my errors and I don't think your asset is to blame, it's just the only thing the Loading Screen Mod Report is showing me.

Getting an asset error that points to this that's breaking the simulation when attempting to load a city.
