Prior to the M4A4 Evil Daimyo being selected I had a few different designs for models and colour options. When it made it into the game I decided it be important to make the designs consistent across the range. I am still very happy with the five seven Majestic Daimyo, but as much as I love it I feel the need to propagate the Evil color scheme and patterns to the other models to strengthen the collection.

During the early revision stages I sketched out many thumbnails - two of which showed promise, but looked very similar. One had the accent colour on the barrel end, and the other just a coloured center area. I worked both up in tandem hoping that along the way one would stand out more than the other, but what actually happened was that both had good cases for and against: for instance the red tip one looks very bright and vibrant - but that might be too much for some, the more grey version with a red center appears slightly more conservative, and perhaps more in balance with the other models. As such I reached a point of indecision - but the good news is I don’t have to make that call! So I’ve decided to submit both versions A (red tip, starburst read) and B (red core, darker), perhaps hamstringing the voting system, but it's nice to have options I think.
