By Chinwiki
Hello my name is LucaNeel and I am making this Glaive Prime guide to show you that this bladed glaive is actually pretty good, and can be a lot of fun to use!

Glaive Prime:
The Glaive Prime is a Primed version of the Glaive. The Glaive Prime was added into the game in Update 11.0. If thrown, this weapon will bounce three times before returning to its owner or after reaching 30m away from its owner.

You can hold E to throw the Glaive. After you've thrown it you can press LMB (channel) to make it explode while in mid-flight.
Materials Needed:
The Glaive Prime parts can be found in the void.

- Glaive Prime Blueprint: Tower IV Exterminate
- Glaive Prime Blade: Tower IV Interception (A) / Tower III Sabotage
- Glaive Prime Disc: Tower II Defense C / Tower IV Sabotage

Required Materials:
- 15,000 Credits
- 10 Orokin Cells
- A blueprint, two blades and one disc

The Glaive Prime takes 12 hours to craft in your foundry.
Glaive Prime Stats:
Mastery Level: 0
Impact: 5.3
Puncture: 5.3
Slash: 24.5
Crit Chance: 5.0%
Crit Multiplier: 1.5x
Status: 10%
Attack speed: 1.17
Channel Damage: 1.5x
Channel Cost: 5
Spin Attack: 175.0
Wall Attack: 105.0
Leap Attack: 70.0
Throw Attack: 105.0

Disadvantages: Short melee attack range, you can't attack before the weapon is returned after being thrown. It's really hard to hit moving targets at range. The critical chance is low, making it unviable for a crit build.

Advantages: The Glaive Prime is completely silent, it can hit weak spots and headshots to get a damage multiplier. You can also throw it around a corner to kill a whole group of enemies.

Glaive Prime comes with a V and a - Polarity. It's stance is a - Polarity.
The stance is: Gleaming Talon.
Main build: (No elements)

This is my main build. Pressure point for 120% damage. Spoiled strike for another 100% + Rending strike to get that extra slash damage. And punch trough to chop trough enemies, and hit others behind them. I didnt put Fury on, so I can have Whirlwind on it. I am a unpatient person you know
Void/Infested Build:
Corrosive + Fire for Void/Infested

Toxin and Electric for Corrosive do deal extra 75% damage to ancients and heavy gunners.

Fire for extra 25 - 50% damage to the lighter units of the infested and for extra 25% damage to the heavy gunners
Grineer Build:
Radiation + Toxin for Grineer.

Electric and Fire for Radiation to get extra 75% damage to those strong napalms and bombards.

I use toxin so you can bypass any shield and damage their health straight away
Corpus Build:
Magnetic + Toxin for Corpus.

Electric + Cold to get Magnetic, for an extra 75% damage to those shielded Corpus units.

We use toxin so you can bypass any shield and damage their health straight away.
Conclusion/End
My conclusion is: The Glaive Prime hits over 4k when being throw. I've even hit a 48K! critical hit on a grineer. This weapon is really deadly, although when you get to the higher enemies it might get hard to kill them. Since you need to throw the weapon twice. Were looking close to level 50 enemies. (The stronger ones, not normal units).

Hello everyone looking at this guide. This is, as you can see, my second guide. I made this build myself, so any mods you'd like to change is all up to you. Leave comments down below, I think I did a great job :) !

@Sugar Show: What he meant was that instead of just killing one enemy, Power Throw allows the glaive to go through that enemy, and take out a couple more behind him. Another thing to note, is that with Gleaming Talon, the glaive gets a blast proc on impact, making Power Throw, and Quick return very useful, just DON'T USE WHIRLWIND, it screws up the timing of the blast.

Power throw is 0.6 PUNCH THOUGHT, Rebound add +4 bounce. R.I.P English. :steamfacepalm::boneleton::steamfacepalm:

+Sugar Show I used power throw so it wont bounce back after just 1 enemy, but bounces back after hitting like 6 enemies behind the first enemy.

Power throw seriusly? Why no take fast attack speed instead?

Great in Defense missions if you're playing a healer or support role where you're mostly stationary.

Probably worth mentioning that the glaive prime can kill nullifiers through their shield.

I've used Glaive Prime in so many missions, it's a personal favorite and most used of all the weapons I own. :P

I didn`t say it is a bad weapon! Actually it is a very good weapon, but it has it`s purpose and limits)
