Advanced Civilization Extras

Açıklama
Just a few items I customized for use with Turgon's upload of Advanced Civilization (available at http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=475770583 ).

Included:

The table IS the board (or rather boards). Gives you a larger map (since the tokens would only shrink so small sometimes it was hard to place them into certain areas) and don't have to worry about accidentally unlocking the board and it shaking pieces around. The custom table includes the map board with the AST board to the right and a clear area for placing Civilization cards or other items needed by players.

Custom Census Markers for each civilization with their AST rank in Roman numeral over the icon and the flip side denotes "Military" for those who have purchased that Civilization card for easy reference.

Stackable circular city markers (9 for each civilization and an extra 9 for pirate cities) so they match the description in the manual. They include a side marked "New City" so you can easily remember which ones were built this turn when you need to reduce cities due to calamities.

Alternate ship tokens with a side labeled "Cloth Making" so you can easily tell which civilization's ships will move 5 instead of 4.

A bag of resources from Turgon's mod so you can setup and play on this table (did not include the boards, if you prefer to use the resizeable boards, just export the resources from my mod you wish to use and play his).

UPDATES:
V1.2
Added Ship Tokens with a side marked "Cloth Making" to easily remember which civilizations ships can move 5.
Added "New City" to one side of the city tokens to help with remembering which need to be reduced first in a turn.

V1.1
Fixed a bug with a phantom marker requesting custom data.
Included a big bag of resources from Turgon's mod to allow setup and gameplay on this table.

Yeah, originally tried the table as just the map but left no area for AST board or Civilization cards, so I tweaked the jpeg to include the AST and an area for the cards. With this game there's enough room near the player's hands to put your player mat and civ cards nearby on the table rim so this seems to work (for me at least).

Great changes. I have been experimenting with tables that are the map (see my Merchant of Venus and Legend of Robin Hood modules) and I quite like them, although in some cases they aren't adequate because you may not have enough space for cards, tokens and the like.

I love the new tokens. Only recently have I been able to model objects in 3d and associate textures (I did it for Robin Hood), so I tend to use square tokens. Plus I find it's more efficient to just use a deck for tokens and adjust size instead of using custom 3d models. But then again it does look better like this. And the census markers are invaluable. Great stuff.
