Cave Johnson here. For this next test, we've put deadly nanomachines in the oxygen supply. If you feel your lungs being agonisingly ripped apart by nanoscopic robots, that's normal. Just take a deep breath, and... Actually no, that'll make the whole thing worse. Ha! Cave Johnson, we're done here.

That's right, I'm back after a long hiatus with a devious puzzle for you!

A medium difficulty light-bridge and laser puzzle. I'm pretty pleased with this one, and I should have some more tests up sooooooon!

The name of the chamber relates to the colours of the lightbridge and laser. Cyan = a shade of blue (light bridge) and Vermillion = a shade of red (laser) Clever, huh?

Tricky test, nothing beats the pure satisfaction of blowing up some turrets!
In all seriousness though, its a solid laser puzzle with a focus on positioning the reflection cube.
also, I don't want to be "that guy", but its spelt: Vermilion.

A solid puzzle, defintely had me stumped for a little while. Love the use of the laser and lightbridge combo in this one!

Part of me is still wondering if it's possible to rush the turrets by exploiting the pause that happens right when they say "Resting...", turanbar-style. I can get to the first turret, but the two in front are not enough cover for the third, so I still can't execute this particular cheese and end up dying. Not that it matters (intended way is pretty simple, so this wouldn't even skip much, am just curious if it's possible)

Proper solution is nice, but other maps have already taught me the idea that sometimes it makes sense to just LEAVE the laser cube in some specific place and go on your own , so didn't take long. I feel like I would've taken longer otherwise. :)

Also don't understand the people complaining about not seeing the portalable surface in the exit area... you're supposed to be thorough when exploring the level lol

Even though I played this 8y ago, I got completely stuck and ended up watching a walkthrough video! I tell you what, it's a lot easier to solve, once you notice that there is a sunken area in the exit room with a portal surface XD

Took quite a while to notice the stairs near the exit. Once I did, it only took a few minutes to figure it out. Excellent map and puzzle!. A new favorite! :steamthumbsup:
