So what's wrong?
I've updated my Geforce drivers to the latest driver and added the -force-d3d9 launch option.
What else can I do to fix this? :(
I have meanwhile spent around 10 hrs to get my latest savegame running again. But no luck. I have solved some issues. But this one I can't fix:
Simulation error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Entire Stack: https://gist.github.com/CodeParanoia/9b34d478acfe54ed6145908d19263935
This popup/error is constantly present and logged. I can`t see any hints to what kind of object may cause it.
Deleting Faceit anti-cheat client is pretty big fix. Worked for me and many others.
As its not necessary for the Razer mouse to function I just disabled it in the Services control panel by the following step.
Launch msconfig
Locate Razer Game Scanner in the list of services.
Uncheck the Razer Game Scanner's service entry.
Reboot.
Hope this can help someone!
