It's actually really simple. You don't even need an additional programme for it, like so games do. First what you need to do is enable the developer console


Now the 2nd part is just simply launch a singleplayer game, or join a multiplayer game. Then what you need to do is press the tilda key, it's the one on the left side of the number 1. If you don't know where it is, here is a picture of it:


Now the last thing to do: Type cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor [*number here*] , and also type a nuber of what fov you want after the cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor , like so:

Also, once you change fov, it will stay permanently like that, until you uninstall l4d2 , or until you change once again
