Small and Proper DCMI Service Interchange

Beskrivelse
Designed by Michael Gingrich as a compact free-flow interchange, as far as I know the DCMI is still hypothetical, although I'm hopeful we'll see one built IRL. I decided to finally try my hand at making one, and decided to flip the design, using tunnels instead of bridges. These things are not easy to make if made right, but I think it turned out really well.

This is a real DCMI, in that weaving is eliminated (entrances are never followed by exits) by crossing the left entrances as part of the two minor bridge crossings. Also, there's only two height levels (the tunnels are all at -9m). This makes the DCMI a very high capacity design, the kind that could easily be used for making a highway to highway interchange in the game, although here I built this as a service interchange, with just 4 ramps, and compactness prioritized. Although a very high capacity service interchange. It's only 32 blocks from exit to entry along the highway, and only 26 for the surface lanes.

I hope you like it.

Construction Cost: $48,470
Upkeep: $581/week

By the way, what got me to make one of these was looking at FeanorKND's DCMI which I really liked and which you should check out if you're looking for a DCMI with bridges instead of tunnels.

ISpeedFreak it should not, its vanila friendly, but if was made with anarchy, so i you break it, you will have problems with fixing it. You can use any interchange, you cannot use mods, custom buildings, vehicles or roads (unless you load archive it mod)

does this disable acheivements when using in game? I'm confused as to how it works?

yes some roads are bugged, are the upkeep numbers and the price made up since it costs so much more then a standart clover interchange.

loads perfectly fine in the editor, but when placed in my city, 2-3 parts are in the wrong unidirectional way.

I had to load it in the editor just to figure out the traffic flow. Very impressive. Unfortunately not what I need for the problem at hand...

Thanks. I was thinking about making another one, maybe for sunken highways.
