It works but needs to be updated like all other mods , Although it was working without shortages or problems in the past , it was more smooth and the shape of the water is better in the older updates. Very frustrating thing =(

Hey I'm really loving this clean map mod but I think the 2.8 update is causing a conflict. in 2.8 they made the barren areas use the terrain map mode but since then those areas are now always black. Also, one of the islands in the north artic sea has been removed but the water there is the vanilla light blue water. Thanks for the future update!

This mod is incompatible with the AGoT mod. It creates a weird criss-cross pattern across the entire map, any idea why this is?

That is indeed not how it's supposed to look like. Maybe you're right and it really has something to do with what you said about Linux.. The only thing I know is that Linux has case sensitivity when handling mods, which Windows doesn't have.

So I'd try renaming the *.mod file to acmmd.mod. If that wouldn't work, I'd rename all the folders and files, so that they have no uper case letters in them. Just a hunch though..
