Apple's Team Deathmatch Gamemode [Beta 1.42]

Because some people try to load this as a single player game, this will not work. This is meant to be on a dedicated server. You will need ULX as well.

Thank you for being interested in this gamemode. This is a remake of previous gamemodes I have made in the past. This one has fixed all bugs, is much smoother, and will feature really nice things in the upcoming future (Summer of 2015), if not have already been added. The older addons can also be found on workshop, called "Very Basic Team Deathmatch", and "Team Deathmatch", they are there for archive purposes only, and will no longer be updated.

There must be at least TWO players connected at all times for the game to work correctly. If there is only one player in the game, the game will never start, so if you want to test things then add a bot through your console. If the game has started and a second player leaves/quits, then the only remaining player will win.

It really helps me get out there as a developer if you rate up/like this gamemode. You don't need to subscribe if you don't like it, but please do not rate down. If you decide you don't like this gamemode, please leave a comment on this workshop page telling me what I can improve. Thanks!


This gamemode is similar to my previous versions, but runs smoother and nicer now. Though, I'll list the features anyways. There is a lot of features, so please subscribe to really find out everything. More to come soon!

Team Specifics:
• Ability to add/edit/delete teams (F2 Menu)
  
• Ability to restrict players from add/editing/deleting teams using ULX[ulyssesmod.net]. If you do not use ULX as your admin mod, then it will default to using if a player is superadmin

When you add a custom rank, and you want to use a custom material to show that rank they are, this is how you're going to do this.
[1] Make a folder in your SERVERS MATERIALS FOLDER (garrysmod/materials), and name it "apple_gamemode_materials", or w/e you want to.
[2] Then place the imagines of the ranks you want in there, and they must all be .PNGs.
[3] Turn your server on, and join it, and once connected press "F3" to open the ranks menu.
[4] Click the "Add" button for ranks, and you'll see a little button saying "browse", click that button and find the new folder you made, and then click the image you added in your folder.
[5] Name it, and give it the amount of kills needed, and hit submit. Everything should work fine, and the players who join will automatically download those images.

Everything is currently through your F1-4 keys. You can also look at the instructional video!
