For anyone interested, It does not work with HIP. HIP has its own transparent map option in alternative files under LTM module. Simply search for pdxmap.lua inside the folder and overwrite with appropriate version.

Yes, I have since tried it with all mods disabled and still have the problem. Already filed a bug report with Paradox.

@2martens: That's impossible. Only pdxmap.lua is modified by this mod. The file has nothing to do with any events.

With 3.0 this mod seems to prevent the introduce heir event chain from running through.

Look for this line: float2 vBlend = float2( 0.4f, 0.45f );
You can make changes and save the file while your game is running. Then open the console (shift+3) and type "reloadfx all" to see them without restarting your game.

To be more specific:

*Actually the brighness is totally good on this one, but only north of the mediterranean, the problem with the high brighness is only an issue for the light green "atomic sludge" colors of the Muslim realms.
