Low Pedestrian Overpass - 2 Lane (Fixed) [Deprecated]

Beskrivelse
5-meter-high overpass for your citizens. Below it is a 4.2m-high clear area for vehicles.

For all users: because I renamed the asset file, this lot will disappear when you load your saved game. Some road segment connected with it will get destroyed too. You need to rebuild it or try the other versions, which are more flexible. Sorry for inconvenience.

Other Versions:

2 Lanes with Overhanging model
http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=438358180

4 to 6 Lanes with Overhanging model
http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=434623907

===================
Category: Park

Size: 2 long, 4 wide.

Stats:
Entertainment Accumulation: 10
Entertainment Radius: 100
Tourists: 10/10/10 (Low/ Mid/ High Wealth)

Water, Electricity, and Sewage free.

Construction Cost: 500
Maintenance Cost: 25
Garbage Accumulation: 1 (There are actually two trash cans!)
Fire Hazard: 0
Fire Tolerance: 20

No color variation available. (A limitation placed on park assets.)

Model Info:
Maps used: Diffuse, normal, UV maps (1024 x 1024)
Raw model tris count: 312 tris
LOD model tris count: 120 tris (LOD texture auto-generated)

Note: Any crossroads near enough can prevent people from choosing the overpass to cross the street.

When Cims want to cross the road from the pedestrian paths, they will walk to the sidewalks first, then turn around to take the overpass. Unfortunately, I cannot fix this behavior.

"Deprecated" statement in title confuses me.
So as I understand correctly, this was once broken due to renaming but is working perfectly fine if to be plopped for the first time?

Also is the difference between this and "Low Pedestrian Overpass - 2 Lanes (Overhang)" the tree and benches?
If so I really prefer to use this one, if it's working.

One last question, why are these 2 lane versions are 6mb but the 4 lane version is 2.4 mbs?

@templeofdoom, it means the author is going to remove this mod in the near future and encourages to use the mods mentioned under other versions.

What does "deprecated" mean for this asset in the title? I've seen some modders use that tag and I have no idea what it means in context to these assets.

Thanks! I used these extensively in SC4. Good to see them here as well.

@LegionOfMe, that is why I never created a 6-lane version using this design. The road stub fuses with an existing road segment, which makes it painful to remove the lot. Consider this file to be a legacy and don't download it if you just want to use it in your city. The overhang versions are more user-friendly in many aspects.

This version did not work properly for me. I could not place it anywhere along existing roads, so I free-placed it, but then I saw that one end of the road was broader than the other end. It looks like a 2/2 road changes into a 3/3 road. Hoping for the overlap version now (the 4-6 lane road overlap worked fine).

this looks awesome, i've been hoping for a leaner way to get people across roads. always borked at the normal raised paths because they take up so much space. and this seems super simple to place as well. is there any way to set the speed of the path for pedestrians? that might entice them to use it in preference to nearby road crossings...
