So after testing again I agree it no longer works but I too have older placements that still work fine.
Your suggestion for a replacement does work for me too. I just used it straight up. I didn't remodel or edit the asset with MoveIt. I did only connect to the 12m tunnel like you and yes this is a great replacement and good to know it takes well to edits with MoveIt.

Okay, did some more testing and it appears that THIS (https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=495193933&searchtext=simple+inner+city+metro) asset as well as the other multi-level stations that use the same station building still work. I removed the unused (lower) station track(s) with move it and now have a working one-level station.

May be a pathing problem with this asset.

I wish I knew the mod interfering with them. I still don't have an issue with this station nor the larger station.

I just did some testing with a quite isolated station near a harbor and it appears that this one (in fact all of the ones I have in older savegames) still work. Once I bulldoze them and rebuild them in the exact same spot, cims will stop using them and will take huge detours (via buses or trams) to get to another station.

So technically they still work but something's a little wonky here...
