Chicago (Includes Real Intersections)

Honestly the beauty of Chicago's massive transport grid system is its gps buses and, tight scheduled frequent stops. the CTA Chicago Transit Authority is exactly what it calls itself.

It would be so nice if you could create such a realistic map like this from chicago but from paris.

I changed that specific intersection but it didn't solve the problem. I searched in the forums for a solution, but it seems I'm not the only one with massive jams on my railroads. So I guess it's on the Devs part to fix this issue. But many thanks for your help. Good map btw, recommended it.

If you'd like to post some screenshots of the effected areas. I might be able to identify the problem easier.

Only thought I have is that some connections are too close causing the jams. The only connection that was made on this map above is the North/South to South/West(triangle shape), which i admit is a close connection.

I have tried to solve the issues, but connecting the missing part of the railroad didn't change anything. Apparently, there are massive traffic jams on all rails leaving the city.

The harbor issue has somehow solved on its own, but thanks for the help.

I think it may be where the North/South rail line meets the rail line from the South/West. The triangle connections could be to close.

Also the rail line just south of the starting zone pinched inbetween I-90, unfortantly there is a section missing which will require you to get the 81 tiles mod to reach the problem.
You can turn on the mod, fix it, save city, then turn off the mod and return to your city. This will mark your saved game restricting achievements tho.

For the harbors I will look into... I have not run into problems myself with the harbor(tourist) yet on this map. Although I have not used the Cargo Harbor... And I think this might be what you mean. Have you tried mutiple locations? Or could it be a certain shoreline?

for some reason the cargo trains dont leave the city fast enough causing major jams on my railroads. Also, no ships are arriving at my harbours. Any solutions? thx in advance.

Awesome job with the realistic freeways. Good work! I'm thinking about building Chicago and this map is perfect.
