PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBSCRIBING:

This is a simple edit to remove the red dot / ring reticle (what you see when you look through the scope) in the original 2x red dot replacement model workshop mod made by [QAQ]Sakura Sayaka

Use this if you want to use his awesome 2x red dot scope replacement model with your own custom reticle, such as the one I am using in the screenshots by IronManhood.

To be clear
If you only subscribe to this and no custom reticle mods, you'll have [QAQ]Sakura Sayaka's XPS with Magnifier for 2x Aimpoint Replacement model, with the default in-game reticle (a red dot).

To avoid conflicts when using this mod, please make sure to unsubscribe from any and all other 2x red dot model / skin replacements you may have installed first - including the original mod by [QAQ]Sakura Sayaka - and make sure the files from those mods are gone from your "workshop" folder (search the workshop folder for the number at the end of the URL of the mod you are removing, behind "id="). 2x reticle replacements are, of course, fine.

recoil makes it seem like youre firing through a slinky, impossible to use

@Snowleopard. Please read the description of the mod fully. There are links to the original mod made by [QAQ]Sakura Sayaka in there where you can see screenshots of the optic and what it looks like. All this mod is is a copy of theirs (with their permission) minus the custom reticle they made for it.

@IronManHood - exactly. Why have to worry about needing to unsub from stuff, resub, bla. Just makes the whole process something to plan out and be difficult about more than is necessary.

I agree that optics models and reticles should be seperate. It avoids problems.

What about people who want Sakura's scope model, but the default reticle?

Hmm it didn't work that way for me. Also, this saves people who already already have a reticle mod installed the trouble of having to scroll through perhaps a couple of pages of mods they have installed to find the reticle mod, unsub. from it, sub to [QAQ]Sakura's 2x mod, then re-sub to their reticle mod. I think mods such as scope mods should be separated into model / skin mods, and reticle mods, anyway. The look you want for your scope model is one thing, the look you want for your actual scope reticle is another.
