Description
You guys wanted an even faster river, you got it. This is version 2.2 (Fastest F-king River Edition). I spent hours toying with the physics and crafting the river just right to get the most amount of flow. Good luck turning this one around. Enjoy!

Sweet home Chicago! After trying to find maps that were Chicago-like for a while, I decided to just make Chicago itself. I attempted to make it as accurate as possible, while still making as much of the city limits fit within the 25 tiles as I could. This map includes Goose Island, Highways: i-290, i-294, i-90, i-94, i-55, i-57, and major freight lines. All that is missing is a city, and a mayor smart enough to put it all together.

This is version 2.2. Changes include the fastest river possible.

Rick, bit late, but as noone aswers your question:
This is not a mod, it's just a map. Hit subscribe and choose a new game in C:S. As the map for the new game, just select this one.
I'd suggest you get some windy city's landmarks and unique building from the workshop, too. GLHF -Wolf

First time playing this game and frankly a PC gamer n00b. How do you install/use this mod? I want to start a new city from scratch and want my hometown Chicago as the basis.

I got to 20 Thousand citizens and the rail system basically broke. The trains stopped travelling outside the city. I only had a few trains stations and everything jammed.

That was a design choice. I figured it wouldn't be useful with the scale the way it is. Since both buildings and parks have to touch roads... It would just be too cramped and awkward. I'll put it in though if you guys want it.

Hey, Love your city(chicago) man! Excpecially the freeway/metro system. I've had an itch to build it since visiting there years ago to catch a cubbies game. Lucas, yes I live in Chicago actually. Know that this isn't an exact 1:1 replica because I wanted the whole city (or close to the whole city) to fit within the 25 tiles given.

Prinny, unfortunately not. Without the water spawner there, the river reverses flow from the pressure of the other river coming down.
