Gothic Cross Interchange

คำอธิบาย
This is the most compact, complete, free-flowing interchange I’ve seen yet.

I gave it the in‐game name “iron cross”, but it turns out that layout is called a gothic cross in real-life. I was close.

In real-life, it’s obscure because of its undesirable inner-lane entrances and exits, but in-game these actually improve its performance.

Last, but not least, it can be placed on surprisingly uneven terrain.

One of the things that I know helps with placement on uneven terrain is backing ramps off slightly from the closest points the editor will allow you to place them, so that when plopping on uneven terrain, the slope of the ramp is still within the allowed limits.

It still surprised me how tolerant it is of slopes. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than many other designs I’ve tried.
