Cirdec's Diverging Windmill +31

An absolutely colossal two-level interchange. All of the ramps remain at grade, while the expressways weave over and through each other. This diverging windmill is an excellent choice for an interchange where traffic is not expected to continue straight through the interchange.

Advantages:
+ No weaving
+ Two levels, easy to place on most terrain
+ Colossal at-grade ramps can accomodate freeway-level traffic in any direction.
+ At-grade ramps can easily be rearranged or downgraded.
+ Can be upgraded with at-grade U-turn ramps

Disadvantages:
- Impossible to install as a replacement interchange
- Difficult to install on an exisiting expressway
- Huge. The expressway connections are +27 squares from the centerline (+31 with the included stubs).
- Short ramps for left-turning traffic
- Traffic traveling straight must make two sweeping S turns.
