It looks more like a dong attached to the trigger band rather than a flashlight or laser module.

It's literally the same model as the M1911, just with different textures. The underbarrel picatinny rails that are found on actual M45s are missing as well.

Or maybe the devs are too lazy to make the M45A1 a bit accurate, so they just slapped it on with a black grip.

hmm, usually the M45 would come with a rail. Well the new one issued anyway.

Ah, yes. I see that now. And I know what the M1911 gun looks like in L4D with its flashlight.
