yea did this once in hopes of getting to use the other factions armies to help fight the Romans. and what do I get I get all the territories minus there armies leaving you up shit creek with out a paddle , Never again. Confederation is just a lame way to absorb territories what a joke.

So, there is no way a confederated general will appear in your "candidate" list, right? That's crap

WARNING: Do not make confederation if the other faction's army is besieging a settlement, or it will vanish, in fact the whole faction may disappear lol

Hey- not sure Dresden still mods Attila-
and not sure many still play it-
but from what I've seen, two thoughts-
the first is, the AI in Attila rarely does *any* of it's diplomatic options, and as far as I can see, has no "weight" assigned to "join empire" ( I beleiev Dresden did not change the AI weights, so they shouldn't have it unless "leftover" from rome 2 scripts).- so while the AI has the option with this mod, I'm yet to see it make 'confederations' with this mod - but as player I clearly can...

2) in rome2, I often found this an "easy mode button" for the player; but the Ai would sometimes- when under pressure ( echoing the greeks threatened by persia, or Vercingetorix's coalition ) -
but fo rthe player, My own mod started as a " lets make this less easy" -
point being- if it's "too easy" , perhaps applying this ability to the one faction for whom in the Attila era it was their *trademark*- the Huns-
allow sthem to be a credible threat *without* the spawning of free, artificial stacks.
@Dresden - if you still read these, as I'm looking at including this in my "records" mode mod; would you mind if i mention you as credit for seed idea?

same issue as wildblast. about the factions that join my empire not shoeing up as canidates. cant get their loyalty after long enough they rebel. or i kicked them from army and loyalty goes up

is it possible to have the generals from the faction you made a confederation with to join the list of candidates/other nobles? so they can join the family.
Played as the Danes and made a confederations with jutes, and i can see their generals but they are not "part of the family" and i cant figure out a way to make them join

@dresden: is it possible of making the confederations change names towards their culture such as norse confederation etc?

One thing that I really miss in Attila is that Imperium level doesn`t change the name of your faction. Currently playing as the geats. It would be cool to have the name change to Kingdom of the Geats, or Empire of the Geats when you progress through the scale.
