version 2.0 updates 2015.02.22

Sometime in January I recalibrated the colourspace of my display incorrectly, this has had a knock on effect when saving to non-embeddable formats resulting in poor consistency. This affected this skin in that the v1 TGAs were saved duller than intended, and more blue in hue.

Other changes:

- Added more detail to the top, it felt like there was a gap in the design where the bullets eject, so I've added some striping to the top, and a crudely worn print to the ejector itself.
- Added more scratching to the buttons.
- Shifted the dial graphics and back stripes to a bluer shade of magenta to accent the main magenta better.
- Adjusted the alpha on the clip so that the logos appear clearer.

I’m building up a collection of Japanese inspired weapons at a snails pace, using my own graphical language and symbols. I felt the M4A4 | Spiteful Daimyo worked best, so instead of duplicating the colour scheme I’ve complimented it with a royal purple. I've reused many of the patterns, but made some visual changes to make it more technical looking and detailed. I've avoided a wide exponent map as I wanted the texture to be more matte than glossy; reflected light reduces the colour saturation and I preferred it to appear like a more coarse plastic. My thinking for the hexagonal overlay pattern was that it should reflect the application process of either pad printing, dye-sublimination or flexography, hence the flat colour and little cracks it the edges for a hint of imperfection. Let me know what you think! Also check out the M4A4 version below.
