How to verify your game files /integrity of game cache?

Why should I do that?
In many cases issues are caused by incorrect game or patch installation or file corruption.

when i try to play the game crash i reinstalled many times wtf is wrong with this game

I have done this, reinstalled FC4 2 times now and it still says "Fatal error" when it tries to load the main menu. Never been an issue before, only after the Steam integration. Thanks for the tips for people who don't know how to verify though, it's really convoluted to find it.

I don't know what to say to you, all my Ubisoft games are installed through Steam... May be try to repare/reinstall Uplay...

With the Uplay version I cannot find the 'Verify Files' button. It just doesn't show up. Instead of 'verify files' it says 'game properties', and when I search through there it's also not there
