Description
I’d been meaning to create another animal sticker for a while as I found making the Llama Cannon quite entertaining. Which lead me to the Panda; panda’s are hugely popular on steam (many users have them as names and avatars), I can see why as they are cute and cuddly bundles of fun. I see a couple in almost every play session, so I thought about shoe-horning a cute Panda illustration into an idea.

I originally planned another idea for an MVP sticker which was more plain and sober looking, but whilst mulling ideas over I thought about changing the abreviation to something comical - and that’s where the idea clicked.

I sketched a few Panda heads framed within a circle with text to mimic the classic insignia format; I could have left it there but thought it would be more humorous to have a swinging car tire as the circle - alluding to an animal playground, and then have the text haphazardly painted on. The ‘star’ medal was an important addition as an MVP in CSGO boils down to a star symbol below an avatar, or alongside a name on the scoreboard.

Overall the most important part is the expression on the Pandas face. I intended it to be extremely happy and goofy at the same time - kind of like the overly attached girlfriend meme. Once I got this nailed down in illustrator the rest of the process was all downhill rolling.

I didn’t feel making it holographic would add value in this particular illustration (no part really calls out for the treatment), so I’ve chosen paper/glossy and foil. Paper and glossy pretty much look the same its just the wear that changes. Let me know any feedback!
