解説
A mining drone designed by Incarri engineers to be as small as possible while retaining satisfactory functionality.
Has a connector on top to make automated ore delivery possible.

Remember to check for up-to-date versions of the INX-7xx series in the Incarri Collection: http://steamproxy.net/workshop/filedetails/?id=202539896

This craft is cute... It goes Nibble Nibble. Nibble Nibble! to the asteroids:) And finds minerals.

I've been fiddling with ways of getting more out of this drone since, as you guys have pointed out, surface mining isn't really that useful a lot of the time. So the solution I came to was a new ship that can work in conjunction with this drone.

The ship drills a tunnel that the drone can fit into and hopefully get to some of the ore that you're after. You can find the mining ship here if you're interested:

I like your ship because it can be used as an ore detecter all around local space!

surfacw mining is great if you need stone.
;) sadly the majority of the time you need to tunnel in,
nice looking ship though

Understood. Nice craft.

Today first time, I took the time to make a drilling craft and named it the "Mother of all Drills" craft. So far I have been able to mine resources in the millions with a single run through an asteroid. It take more time to transfer resources to the mothership than to mine...lol.
Most of the resouces are in the asteroid.

Check it out... search "Mother of all Drills"...

Hey man, thanks for commenting.

If you're asking if you can simply hold down the forward throttle and go straight through without getting caught on something, I don't think that's possible to be honest.

I haven't tried it, but it's not what I designed it for and I can imagine that the "wings" would get stuck on the sides of the hole as it digs.

It's definitely a good idea to try and aim for with my next design, though. I'll see if I can make something that'll go straight through an asteroid without a scratch.

This particular design is for surface mining - the idea is that you would have dozens of them working all at once, since they're small and remote controlled.

Can I drive that right through an asteroid?
