THIS IS JUST A RETICLE. For a model replacement, I recommend Mr. Brightside's ACOG model:

If any of you want to make any edits to this, I don't care if you do, I don't care if you put it on the workshop, I don't care if you use it in a ♥♥♥ mod; just so long as I am credited somehow. And really, I barely even care about the credit. I probably won't care if you steal this wholesale and use it in a commercial game. The only time I will care is if you issue a DMCA takedown against someone else for editing or reuploading your edit of my reticle. So, if you are unhappy with the color or zero of the sight, feel free to change it and upload your changes. Post a link here or in the Red version's comments and I'll even link to your edit.

Original Description:
The C79's reticule sucks, at least in my opinion. So I decided I'd replace it with an Acog TA31 RCO reticule I threw together in GIMP. And then spent several hours perfecting because I wanted to release this to the public. I'm sure it still needs some more tweaking to become perfect, which is why I'm releasing it to you now. I want you to tell me what's good, what's bad, that I'm awesome, that I'm a piece of #@%&, whatever your thoughts are after using this reticule. Enjoy.

Hm, interesting. It is probably user error on my part then. Strange, though. The M-14 EBR always seems to hit a little below the chevron. Oh well. I'll pay closer attention and see if it's just my imagination.

Angry Mexicans, the tip of the chevron is the aiming point. In fact, Buster Baxter is complaining about this and wants the aiming point to be the bottom of the chevron. Depending on the weapon, this may not be the case; however, this will be an issue with the original elcan reticle as well.

Hey, could you perhaps adjust this sight so that the tip of the chevron is the aiming point instead of the "tip of the spear" (how it was referred to by a friend of mine in the Corps) at the top of the bullet drop graduations. The tip of the chevron is supposed to be the zero at 100m and the top of the vertical line the 300m mark. Given that we aren't engaging very far out, and given that it is far more intuitive an aim point in addition to being far more prominent a marking, could we instead zero the reticle for the tip of the chevron? Thanks.

Would be great if you could release a version zeroed for the bottom of the chevron instead of the top.

@b0nk3rs: Confirm it appears in the list of workshop addons in the game's main menu, and see if it works offline by typing "map contact_coop" in console [or any other map]. If it doesn't appear in the game's menu, there's an issue downloading; if it appears offline but not online, then you're trying to join a pure server and there's no way to make it work; if it doesn't appear offline or online, check for a conflicting reticle replacement mod.
