Metro RP Stations & Tunnels - RP_LR_Refuge_v1

Set in a post-apocolyptic era, RP_LR_Refuge_v1 captures the immersive style found in the popular 'Metro' video games and books, then puts it into one gigantic map.

Metro is a linear shooter that takes place in the Post-Apocalyptic Metro System of Moscow, following the events long after the devastating World War III.



  • Ambient Sounds. You'll hear random screams in the tunnels, the screeching of metal, the tapping of four legs on the cold metal tracks and so much more - a truley terrifying experience!

  • The map is huge and features several stations - more than enough for a roleplay server and definitely enough for factions to flourish.

  • Custom ported assets. We used textures and models direct from the Metro video games to create a truley authentic feel.

  • The main station has attention to detail. The main gate has it's very own FX, a red light and warning sound will emit when the door is opening and closing (along with the defeaning screech of grinding rusted metal!) - the gate itself can only be opened from the control panel room which leaves room for roleplay servers to hire station guards.

    The main station also features a bar, market, guards armoury, shack housing, gated entrance to the surface, public rally/speach area and a farm.

  • If you plan on using this map for your server, please be sure to give proper credits to Last Refuge along with linking the website (http://www.last-refuge.com/).

  • If you plan to noclip outside of the map, be careful on lower-end computers because your FPS will significantly dip. This map is huge, rendering it all in one is not a good idea.

  • Requires CounterStrike: Source content, may also require Half Life 2: Episode 2 content.

This map was a originally created many years ago on a much older version of Garry's Mod. Unfortunately it's no longer maintained and it's likely that a lot of previous functionality has since broken. Feel free to dig into the files and see if you can fix it up yourself :mllrmask:
