Introduction
This guide will give you instructions on how to become a Steam Curator.

Steam Curators can recommend titles to the Steam Community as a group, individual or website.

Recommending Products
Before you're able to recommend products as a Steam Curator you'll need to be an officer or owner of a Steam group. If you'd like to learn how to create a Steam group refer to the guide below.

http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=334896308

From your Steam group select the "Curator" tab.

Before you can begin recommending products you'll need to set your groups tagline. For example my group makes recommendations on Steam Controller friendly games. Once saved your tagline can be edited by returning to the "Curator" tab and selecting "Edit tagline".

Once you've saved your tagline the "Make New Recommendation" button will appear.

You'll need to specify the product and write a synopsis of why you're recommending it. You're also given the option of linking users to your full review on a website or YouTube.

When you're done writing select the "Post Recommendation" button. You'll be able to view and edit all of your previously recommended titles from the "Curator" tab on your Steam group. Before your curator page will appear in the Steam store you'll need to recommend at least 10 products.

Steam Storefront
Once you've made ten recommendations your curator page will appear on the Steam Curators list. From here Steam users can follow your page. Additionally users can select the "Follow this Curator" button from your Steam group page.

Followers will be able to see your recommendations directly from the Steam storefront page and on individual game listings. They will also appear on their Steam friends feed.

Each curator also has its own storefront page where users can filter through your recommendations. The storefront page can be found by selecting the "View Store" link from the "Curator" tab on the Steam group.

Hello, sorry for my english, I will try it. I have a problem with my Steam Curator page. I can't see the text in the upper part of my curator page (tagline). I have tagline written but it's not shown in my curator page. Can anybody tell me why? thanks.

You don't have to own it, because many pre-order unreleased games are recommended or not recommended by curators all the time.

Do one have to own the product on Steam to recommend or not?
