Apologies but I cannot update any of my old mods :S

for posterity here's the ol' description

Editing one file allows for impact effects to be used for combat and running stances.

You can also go to the link below to download some better effects. If you do, please leave a rating instead of subscribing!

To install the TWC version, all you have to do is extract the zip into your data folder of the Rome 2 directory. Note that that version will not appear in the mod manager.


There are two dust effects. A heavy effect is given to some units running on sand and "mud" (dirt etc), and a light effect for infantry running and fighting, and cavalry walking and running on grass.

On the TWC center version, there are 3 colours of dust that are like the sand of the Steam version, but with opaque effects (it's much better :3). TWC[www.twcenter.net]


To see the dust effects, particle effects must be set to very high or above.
