SNES Reboot

Description
THIS MODULE REQUIRES GEEKED'S PROP PACK

Back in 1993 there was a Shadowrun game released on the Super Nintendo. It developed quite a dedicated following, and as a tribute to it I founded the SNES Reboot project.

The goal of this project is to remake (and improve) the SNES version for Shadowrun Returns.

Though this project is complete, we welcome your feedback. We know the project isn't perfect, but hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. And, time permitting, we'd love to continue enhancing it in the future!

This module is intended for either the default (Jake) or a new character. The module requires Geeked's prop pack which is available here: Workshop Link

I'm glad you finally got it working, even if you had to go with the "nuclear" option of doing it manually. ;)

Hey peeps, got my final reply from Paradox. They are just a publisher and the game is considered complete. They supplied one final link... Hopefully it helps someone.

My advice is to use old installs. If not possible, these instructions worked for me. Well the idea did. Download mod pack from a site like Nexus. Place unzipped data in the correct path. Open as a mod and publish locally.

New wrinkle. My desktop (old install) allows me to contect to the Steam library and downloads/updates are good. On the NEW install, bad link and no updates. I think the Paradox thing is the issue. Don't know what to make of it or how to fix it, however.

Its a strange problem...

In an effort to assist, I reached out to Paradox Support. They apologized for not being able to help directly (not something they created, so don't cover). But they did TRY to help by doing some searches. These techniques did not work for me (yet?) But I am supplying in the event they might help others. YMMV.

That's definitely odd...
I'll try on a different computer when I get the chance and see if I encounter the same thing.

I just tried to do this yesterday as well as today. Fresh install of Steam on a wiped/reloaded computer. The browse buttons no longer work inside of the games for me. And when I fire up a web browser and hop onto Steam with a Sign-in, I have the same issues as @Great Old One. I wonder if the button not working is a factor. Very sad atm :(

all of this is 400mb at the very most - game has never been reliable on telling you if something has been downloaded - and the download speed is also unknown - and its not recognized unless you restart the game a few times and steam a few times.

@Great Old One - Hmmm... Usually once you restart Shadowrun Returns its enough to get it going... Perhaps a steam update messed up your settings?

In the steam client, open the steam menu, go to settings and check the downloads and cloud options. I've heard having cloud off can mess up other games.

Also, right click on the game in the steam client, go to properties, and see if cloud is enabled. That's another thing which I've heard messed up other mods.

I cannot for the life of me get this mod to run. I've tried all the tips and tricks, and it just refuses to download. They're listed in properties, but they're sitting at 0 bytes.
