Troubleshooting

If you have trouble Updating/Downloading this Mod try to delete the 312976851.sbm file from your Mod Folder and let the Game redownload it, this usually fixes it!

I agree with @Bokune, this is a good mod but the author abandoned it cause he doesn't care about it anymore, if he doesn't care then he shouldn't care about it being updated by someone else

I've run into small error on one of the lights, the single hanging light, the light beam points up instead of down, all the others seem to work fine, and I love the long version. but this one needs work. thanks

1> That's your opinion. It's wrong; you're allowed to have it, though its a bad look.

2> The mod DOES have copyright (in the US). After the copyright reform of 1989, the MOMENT someone creates a work, it has copyright. That means that if someone DOES copy the mod, they are in violation of the author's copyright.

3> Again, your opinion. And it's not up to you - it's up to the author. You don't get to tell other people what they can or can't do with their own intellectual property.

4> Your phrasing here is non-sensical. I'm not sure where you get that mods are in violation of copyright, when publishers have both implicitly and explicitly stated they are in favor of and allow modding...

5> It's frustrating. But if it is infuriating, I suggest you relax, calm down, and check your priorities. This is a game, and even if you've put 1k hours into it, it shouldn't make you furious or entitled.

Forth mods themselves are in violation of the copyright of the games they are for even games that allow mods as copyrights have not been updated for mods at anytime game developers and or publishers can so no more mods and start enforcing it legally and that's that.

Lastly if you can't understand that restricting the updates of a mod that has been abandoned often times with out good reason explanation or until a promised update/overhaul that either never comes or doesn't arrive until years later is infuriating and some times people may just want to vent about it either through complaining or yeah even crying then we have nothing more to say to each other thanks for insulting me over a little frustration I'm gonna go listen to some sad songs cry and then move on. First I never said they were required to do anything I simply said that if a mod is abandoned it should lose protection

Second with out a copyright they can't stop people from doing anything with their code or anything through any means but site policy if some one made their own site and put an update of another mod author's mod there they can't do shit about it.

Third there is no good reason for mod authors to deny maintenance or improvement of mods they no longer care for use or maintain.
