This is the first panel you will meet in map editor.

Here you can choose the basic' parameters for your basic map (if you want a base) :
  • The base scenario.
You can choose an initial style to auto-generate a base map on which you will build up your own.
You can choose between: Flat, Island, Desert and Snowy Mountain, each type is different from the others.
  • The map width. You can set the map width from this parameter.
  • The map height. You can set the map height from this parameter.
As we said, you can choose to follow this method if you want to auto-generate a base map before building up your own, if you want you can choose "Cancel" and start your map from scratch.
The menu panel

This is the main panel of the editor. Here you can find some useful tools:
  1. Create new map: by clicking this icon you will open the "create map" panel where you will able to set new parameters for a new map.
Be sure to save your work before creating another map, because the editor will not save automatically!

  3. Save current map: save the map you are working on. Use this very often.
  4. Undo: delete last action. If you made a mistake, this is the best way to repair it. Just click it and your last action will be deleted.
  5. Redo: redo last action. If you used undo too many times, you can use redo to get back the work you deleted with the undo function.
  6. Environment settings: From here you can choose various environment settings for the map. Click on the link for more info.
