this is a puzzle / demo.
before the harder version:
"glass glitch puzzle 2of2"
not many items in here.
hopefully this will help you figure it out.
1st room: all areas covered in glass, exept the angled panel & 3 tiles, covered in grating.
2nd room: all areas covered in glass, exept the floor, exit, entrance & gel dropper. (gel dropper area not covered in glass, purely for the dispensing conversion gel)
I got the idea of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ conversion gel on glass, which covers a tile, to allow firing a portal into that tile,
from mrsumo's map. & so experimenting began.
while making this, I also saw it on stormsend's map.
thankyou both for the inspiration & idea.
but in here & the sequel, are more variations on these properties.

you can't go through glass. but...
their is a video walkthrough above.
if you need help. just watch untill you see the part your stuck on.
then resume play.

ok can i actually started the sequel first than i saw that you said to do this one first so i did. my question is...... i understand that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the white gel on the glass makes it so you can put a portal on it as long as there is a wall behing the glass. should you be able to go through the portal or does the glass keep you back? i noticed in the second one that i couldnt but like a grate i can put a cube through but not take it back out.

I have added the 1 map, you have in your workshop, with a 2nd author, to my list.
if your interested. their is a sequel to this map: "glass glitch puzzle 2of2"
it uses the same consept. but is more of a puzzle.
harder with more items.

INNteresting! Haven't seen many uses of this bug/feature recently, but will keep it in the 'kit' and not presume that glass has no permeability...
