How to Play Versus with Offline AI

Before You Start the Game
Before you start the game, you have to go to Steam > Library > Left 4 Dead 2 > Right Click > Properties > Set Launch Options type in
+allow_all_bot_survivor_team 1
Enable Developer Console
***If you already enable developer console, ignore this step.
The Left 4 Dead console allow you to play versus on your own.
First of all, you have to enable developer console
OPTIONS>KEYBOARD/MOUSE>ALLOW DEVELORER CONSOLE>Enabled
First Step: Enable Cheat
To access developer console, click the ~ on your keyboard on the left of your 1
After you open your console type in
sv_cheats 1
Second Step: All Bot Cheat
After you enable cheat on your console, type in
sb_all_bot_game 1
Third Step: Team Switches
This cheat alllow you to switch team as many time you want, to enable this cheat type in:
vs_max_team_switches 99
4th Step: Bind Selected Key to Spawn Selected Infected
To spawn selected infected in game, type in
***Please note: you can change the number key to whatever key you like
bind "6" "z_spawn boomer" bind "7" "z_spawn spitter" bind "8" "z_spawn charger" bind "9" "z_spawn hunter" bind "0" "z_spawn jockey" bind "I" "z_spawn smoker" bind "o" "z_spawn witch" bind "p" "z_spawn tank"
Final Step: Start the Game
Type in:
map c1m1_hotel versus
to start a versus game with offline AI in Dead Center, enjoy :)
Q & A
Q: Will this get me VAC ban?
A: No.

Q: I don't want to play Dead Center, how do I play other map?
A: See map list below.

Q: How come I did not get any achievement?
A: Achievement will be disable after sv_cheats 1 is enable.

Q: How come the bot is not moving? (issue for some player)
A: You forget to add "+allow_all_bot_survivor_team 1" to Steam > Library > Left 4 Dead 2 > Right Click > Properties > Set Launch.

Just came here to say that if you cannot select the infected team or do not spawn as infected straight away, is because the versus gamemode was not specified

Fix: when loading the map of your choice, just type versus afterwards with a spacing
Example: map c11m1_greenhouse versus
