22/8/14: Now with working hangar door locks! They don't lock while open, though, so I would recommend keeping them closed while manoeuvring. Also, three small worker ships added, courtesy of GotLag (whose design they are modified from).

A small-sized research and merchant vessel. Lightly armoured and armed, the ship includes a small hangar deck and an integral cargo transportation system.

Ship facilities include:

* prow-mounted ore detector
* 2x refineries rigged to conveyor system
* 2x assemblers rigged to conveyor system
* 2x large cargo containers rigged to conveyor system
* 1x external conveyor collector
* 2x conveyor connectors, one mounted ventrally on the exterior, one mounted to the hangar floor
* 1x large nuclear reactor within armoured compartment
* backup solar arrays
* backup battery systems spread throughout the ship for redundancy
* full navigational lighting (nautical conventions - red port, green starboard)
* utility lighting
* approx. 1.0G gravity coverage for entire ship (up to 2.0G in small areas at coverage overlaps)
* cozy interior space including crew quarters (8 beds), mess, work rooms, medical bay, etc.
* compartmentalised design (in case shipboard life support is ever a thing, allows for damage control)
* small-sized hangar with approach lighting (able to fit a single fighter or small utility vessel)
* armoured hangar doors with convenient controls
* sturdy, streamlined construction (no awkward appendages begging to be knocked off)
* superb panoramic view from flight deck
* secondary dorsal cockpit to allow for basic control in event of damage to flight deck
* 4x automated CIWS turrets for protection from incoming meteor showers or other dangerous objects.

Designed as a complimentary vessel to the larger Nadezhda-class cruiser, which carries no armament of its own.
