Subtle HD Terrain

This mod is a collection of materials from other mods which give AOE2HD's terrain a more 'HD' feel without substantially altering the general look and feel of the game. In general, they look more realistic and less saturated than the default textures. This mod doesn't include any changes to units, trees, or buildings.

This mod includes materials from:

• Manu's HD Textures Pack v3 -- more detailed and realistic terrain textures
  
• Cinematic HD Water Texture -- prettier water with more visual depth
  
• Summons HD Water Pack v3 -- shallows to match the Cinematic water
  
• The Landscape Mod - Cliffs - Tetsuo -- better cliffs with more accurate sizing
  
• Ozhara's Default Gold Mine Enhancement -- subtly enhanced gold mines
  
• Trees, cliffs and mines replacer v2 -- visually distinctive stone mines

Many thanks to the authors of the above mods - they did the hard work, I've just picked out a subset of their materials which I think work well together. I would have done this as a Collection instead, but I wanted to cherry-pick specific materials and avoid issues with multiple mods containing the same files.

Tip: if you're having trouble uninstalling/reinstalling mods for AOE2 HD, try this:

• Unsubscribe from the mods.
  
• Delete everything in your 'mods' and 'Data/slp' folders.
  
• Verify the game cache integrity (right-click game -> 'Properties' -> 'Local Files').
  
• Resubscribe to the mods.
