I know how that feels.
my previous pc died on me also.
but even though I had not backed up recent portal 2 maps.
I was able to access & copy them to my new pc, using a docking station.
it was as easy as accessing an external hard drive :)
well place the drive from your dead pc into the docking station & connect the docking station to the new pc & that is what it is.(as long as no malware on hard drive)
look forward to your feedback on mine.
(I try to push the basic editor, so you should find something unusual or new on most.
not to all peoples taste. but a lot of people find something they have not seen before.
of course their are puzzles)
@mood3rd, this version is hammer tweaked so there was no need for a mechanism. (In the prototype I believe I used 2 lasers, 1 relay, 1 catcher, and a redirection cube :) . My gaming laptop is dead at the moment but I'll be sure to check out your workshop again when I have the means to play.
at the start I was confused.
then quickly did it.
then still confused by funel polarity staying in the changed state, while cube is not breaking either laser.
I presume you have a hidden mechanism.
I like the infinite amount of time, to exit. (when using the correct solution)
I was worried that I would have to be ninja fast. but no worries :)
the lack of items makes the solution a lot easier to quickly find. (user friendly)
