Good suggestions there. I might handle those when I got some time.
Especially with the "Wet" or "Hot" modified.
I've heard people call them AOE's.
That sounds like a mouthful for me.
Special cases:
Wet: An alternate way to say "water" when referring to projectiles or steam, for example "wet shards", "wet rock", or "wet steam".
Hot: See above, but with fire. Usually only ever used to refer to "hot steam".
X-ball: a rock with only 1 D, carrying other elements with it. For example, "fireball".
Pebble: A rock with 1 D. An alternative term to distinguish little rocks from big rocks.
Nova: !XXX where X is not D or E (or W only). The most common way to refer to selfcasts.
Also, shouldn't combo elements be included in the "specifying spells" section of natural language?
QF: Steam
QR: Ice
Steam is listed in examples but not in "specifying spells", but ice on the other hand isn't listed at all even though it's used sometimes, for example "ice ball", which isn't shards or a "stomp".
