Well done from a technical standpoint, even if it's too abstract for my taste. Too bad about the 9 seconds.

What 2Dfruity said.

The official rules http://sourcefilmmaker.com/saxxyawards/guidelines/ merely state:
"You are free to use any Valve IP."

It's just that most people do TF2 videos with SFM because the TF2 characters lend themselves best to stories. But the rules states "You can use any Valve IP [intellectual property]", which includes game franchises such as Half Life, Counterstrike, Left 4 Dead, and Portal.

Last year, the Saxxy Awards 2012 included the TF2/L4D crossover "Scout vs Witch, a tale of boy meets ghoul". Heck, the TF2/ZombieU crossover "Till Death Do Us Part" by lozeng3r was even among the four final nominees for Best Drama!

Also, last year the Saxxies included a "Original Universe" Category, for people who wanted to do something wildly original with the Source Filmmaker, but it had so few entries that Valve dropped that category this year. This video would have fitted right into that.

it's nice but unless you can change the category short is a little too long but I would vote for it.:p2blue:

Saxxies don't have to be related to TF2 at all. Read the rules. http://sourcefilmmaker.com/saxxyawards/guidelines/

It can't be a Saxxy since saxxy's are TF2 specific.

It's really good I must say! However, the video is about 9 seconds over the limit to be a short.
