As we all know Sparta starts with two units of Spartan Hoplites with King Areus, and in the first few turns of the game, those 3 units when combined in combat are pretty much unstopable esspecially while flanking the same unit. at least so I thought. It was turn 4 When I was attacked by Macedonia and my two starting Spartan Hoplite units and my general with his Royal Spartans were wiped out by 1 unit of Royal peltasts (Used as a Macedonian General unit) My three units were not even touched by any other enemy unit, it was a straight up 3v1, the macedonian unit was surrounded, using my generals abilities like crazy but my Spartans were used like shit paper to wipe Macedonian arse by 1 unit of Peltasts. You need to review your units and balance them against the rest of the entire Greek culture because 160 Peltasts of any kind COULD NOT go toe to toe with 480 Spartans and walk away with 93 men remaining.
