It annoyed me that there were no ranged chariots for egyptians. I added a cheap chariot skirmisher to the egyptian faction. Can also be used as a general unit.

Should not conflict with any mods since It's a new unit. Any problems or issues, please tell me.

(would reccomend using this mod with the smoke and dust mod :D)


UPDATE: Changed the appearance of the charioteers and horses. Now actually uses an egyptian horse skin I didn't find until recently. Made them look more imposing

maybe you can put two chariot riders? one who drives the chariot and another with bow or spear? more historicly, thanks!

I have some ideas... It's just I wouldn't be able to implement them yet. I haven't tried making new unit variants yet, i'm really waiting until some modding god makes a visual modtool that would make it easier.

I don't like to edit existing units because a lot of mods tweak them :/ Could make a new unit though, care to elaborate?

Cactus, since we are on egypt, do you think you could change the riders on camel units for egypt and change them for the ones they have on garamantian chariots?

It is just my personal opinion, but I would be totally able to look past the wonkiness of the animation being a guy standing still, firing, without holding the reins until they actually release a chariot archer if it meant *having* chariot archers.
