The Balance Reaver:

Gained In: Chapter 1, The Sarafan Stronghold
Aligned Pillars: Balance
Charged: Deals more damage to struck enemies
Spell: A blast that damages surrounding enemies







The Flame Reaver:

Gained In: Chapter 3, The Sarafan Stronghold
Aligned Pillars: Conflict
Charged: Deals fire damage to struck enemies
Spell: Makes surrounding enemies attack each other







The Dimension Reaver:

Gained In: Chapter 5, The Pillars Area
Aligned Pillars: Dimension
Charged: Nearby enemies receive the same damage as the one being hit
Spell: Teleportation attack to strike several enemies






The Lightning Reaver:

Gained In: Chapter 7, The Water Forge
Aligned Pillars: Energy
Charged: 'Chained lightning'. The damage caused by the third strike of a combo is mirrored on other nearby enemies
Spell: Surrounding enemies are struck by lightning





The Time Reaver:

Sanguine Censure:

Attack Type:: Rapid Air Attack
How To Use: Move + Action (in mid-air)
In mid-air, tap the movement key/button in the direction of the attack. At the same time, press the Action key/button repeatedly.



Infernal Sundering:

Attack Type:: Devastating Strike
How To Use: Move + Lift Attack

Charged: Struck enemies are spun around and may be thrown by combos
Spell: A whirlwind that throws surrounding enemies away
Other Uses: Activates special Air Reaver plinths/vents




The Water Reaver:

Gained In: Chapter 8
Aligned Pillars: States and Death
Charged: Briefly freezes struck enemies
Spell: An ice blast that damages and freezes surrounding enemies for a while
Other Uses: Douses braziers/sconces, freezes waterfalls.




The Earth Reaver:

Gained In: Chapter 10
Aligned Pillars: Energy and Time
Charged: Damage caused to struck enemy is mirrored on nearby enemies
Spell: A strong earthquake that severely damages surrounding enemies
Other Uses: Lets Raziel walk underwater, activates Earth Reaver plinths/platforms

Perforate Carcass:

Shatter Spirit:

Empyreal Rending:

Attack Type:: Air Strike
How To Use: Move + Lift Attack (in mid-air)

Kinetic Shackles:

Attack Type:: Telekinetic Stasis
How To Use: Move + Telekinesis
Tap the movement key/button in the direction of the attack, while simultaneously pressing the Telekinesis key/button.
Unlockables
Beat the game to unlock everything in the Bonus Material section, as well as all the story cutscenes in the Dark Chronicle.

The Bonus Material section comprises a variety of extras, such as voice-over sessions, 3D renders, sketches of enemies, and more.
The Dark Chronicle is a complete collection of all of the game's cutscenes, viewable in o the order they appeared, giving gamers the story in full without the action.

Kain's Arcane Tomes: 1-10
These tomes include production material from the Blood Omen games, such as sketches, maps, early artwork, and shots from deleted scenes.

Raziel's Arcane Tomes: 1-10
These tomes include production material from the Soul Reaver games, with many sketches of Raziel, Moebius, Vorador, and other characters.

The Making of LoK: Defiance
This section includes concept art and 3D renders of the environments and characters, information on the LoK team, information on the voice talent, and some recording sessions of certain scenes, as well as some outtakes.

Looking at my old SR2 folder, I see 3 .ini files.

There is a dsound.ini
A sr2.ini
and a sr2w.ini

The dsound is kind of obvious. Not necessary to mess with, but the other 2 are what will need editing for it. Depending on the system you run it on.

w is clearly an old windows version, at least from my experience. But a modern might run the regular sr2.ini instead. (It also helps if you patch the game, though I can't remember where to get the Patch exactly. I'd recommend checking the (Legacy of Kain) Discord for the patches to all of the games that are available on Steam. Only the SR1&2 Remaster doesn't need a Patch... yet.

For all of them, I recommend turning on the (File Extensions) in your Computer's File Options. That will tell which file is a .ini easily.

The .ini file is in the game folder.

Steam/Steamapps/Common.Legacy of Kain (Game Name)/

There is no other folder it is placed in, it has to be Steam's actual Game Folder for the Library. The Documents Folder (Using the Game's Name) is for Save Files only.

At least as far as I can remember.

i don't see a .ini file for this game, and the instructions from the links still doesn't work.

For those that can not get the cheats to work:
It isn't just putting the codes in that activates them, you also have to edit .ini files. This is true for all of "The Legacy of Kain" Games, most of the authors for Cheat Guides assume that you have already edited Initiative Files.

Some may require you to put in a new line via a text editor (Windows Notepad being the usual.), though some old games already have the line in there; it is just usually set to = False.
You would have to change the line to = True.

Personally, I do not do this for these games. LoK Games deserve their challenge rank, and I much prefer to play these games without cheats.

Has anyone else had an issue with the Malaks Sword and Shield Doors Not opening after collecting the Falcon Gliff and defeating the soldiers in the courtyard with Malaks Statue in it??? I have tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling the game and reverting to older save points, but neither worked...? Its as if the little cut scene for the Magical Door Barriers to disappear isn't Loading or something like that?

Why arent the cheats working, I put it the controlls on keybord but they still dont work.

Maverick: The Graveyard was actually one of the three hardest areas in the game. The only reason I got past it was that I am used to the puzzle systems they used through out the entire series. If I remember right, that entire area required you to be of quick foot and mind. Though that was back on PS2, If you really need help look up 'Legacy of Kain Dark Chronicle' on Bing or google. It is a site that is solely dedicated to the series' lore and secrets, that also contains guides to certain areas in all of the games.

LOVE these games i cant beleive they gave kain the weapon he needed to save nosgoth and then didnt make a final game
