As Aliona said, it does work in DC and if you missed that first computer, they're are more further on in the game. Some with even better benifets. Jensen's is the next REALLY good one for XP's

I got this game so long and now i play this it was laying for jears.No ,i wasn#t know how many fans here, and for that Hack thanks ,cool .Hope works without a glitch.haha

Yea. That's the one. I didn't notice at first that I could capture the Security node. So, I captured it the data nodes the hard way and then took the regular access node to complete it.
I did it tree times without seeing the running total, so I clicked OK thinking it wasn't working. But, as it tallied up my score, it was adding all three, so I went back in and started over. After about my tenth time, I actually looked at the red security node and finally noticed the sollid lines. So, I captured it. And, sure enough, the total number of nukes and XP points I had accumulated was shown.

I just tried it out today and it worked great. I hit the first computer that had data cores. The one controling the camera and the turet in the manugacturing plant, just before you get to the hacker.

I descovered something interesting though. If you use this trick, finishing with the reqular access (exit) node, it will continue to add up point, but you won't see the running total. You can only see the running total if you're capturing the red security data core.

I finished the first mission with over 110 Nukes and an extra 11000 XP points. I really wanted a couple extra praxis kits.
Now it's time to attack Jensens office computer. :-D
