Getting 100% in Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is quite an easy thing to do. While you could possibly miss most if not all achievements by playing the game normally all of them are close to the general path of the game and only take a moment to do.

I will be listing the achievements under what chapter they can be found in and only one of them has two parts where you need to do things in separate chapters.

If you miss any of these during your first playthrough you can access the needed chapters by using the chapter select in the main menu.

Contains a single achievement that is accessible shortly after starting the game.

Take a Break
You took a break from adventuring.

Soon after starting the game you will have to move a cart down a trail. As you move along the road you will encounter a platform where you need to pull a lever to progress. Instead of doing this look for a small path heading down to the beach and follow it to the end and you will find a pile of stones.

Simply interact with it with any of the two brothers to get the achievement.

There are four achievements connected to Chapter One. One is split in two where the second part of the achievement is in Chapter 4.

Wishing Well
You threw someone's ball down a well… Shame on you.

After leaving the town you will end up being in a smaller settlement and what counts as Chapter One. Directly to the side of the path there will be a well that we will be using for the achievement.

Look around for a girl carrying a ball and use the little brother to take the ball and throw it down the well to trigger the achievement. I hope you feel bad!

Love Birds
You re-united the two love birds.

This achievement is done it two steps. This is step one.

A bit into Chapter One you will see a birdcage on the side of the path with a singing bird in it. Walk up to it with the little brother and set it free to do half of the Love Birds achievement.

Step two will be in Chapter Four.

The achievement does not require you to play all the chapters between one and four to make it work. You can simply load up Chapter One and do step one and later load Chapter Four to do step two.

Black Sheep
Every family's got one.

A bit into Chapter One you will encounter a bridge that you keep down by walking in a big wheel. Put the little brother in the wheel and keep him walking and then use the big brother to walk across and pick up one of the sheeps standing on the other side.

Carry him over to the other side and follow the other path that leads away from the bridge and the way you came from and you will see an area with four rabbits and a firepit. Drop into the area and carry the sheep into the firepit and drop him on it to make him black from all the coal.

The achievement is yours.

Bunny Buddies
You made the bunnies play nice.

In the same area as you did the Black Sheep achivement there are four rabbits; three black and one white. What you need to do for this achievement is simply to grab the white one and drop him on the firepit to make his fur black just like you did with the sheep.

There are no achievements in the second chapter of the game so just move on. Nothing to see here. Really.

There is just a single achievement in this chapter so once you have it you do not have to worry about achievement till the next chapter.

Falling star
Make a wish.

Once you reach Chapter 3 you will be in a dark forrest and will encounter a graveyard. Look around and you should see a statue near the path. Walk up to it with the little brother and interact with it with the little brother for a few seconds. He will point towards the sky and as you wait there will eventually be a falling star darting across the sky and with it you should get your wish (or in this case...your achievement).

There are three achievements to get in this chapter and one of them is step two of an achievement we started in Chapter One.

A sad tune
You made someone feel better.

Early on in Chapter Four you will meet a man who is about to end his life by hanging himself. You need to stop him for this achievement so use the big brother to prevent him from doing it and at the same time climb the tree with the little brother so he can cut the rope.

Once you have done this drop down the ledge near the tree and make your way into the burnt down house, and you will find a box that you need to bring to the man you just save. Upon delivery you will get your achievement.

Windpipe
You made the inventor dance.

After spending some time in the mountains you will reach a big house that belongs to an inventor. Spend some time looking around and walk up a staircase leading to a machine with a lot of pipes. You need to interact with it until it plays the right tone, making the inventor dance of joy.

Put the little brother on the rotating lever and the big brother on the horn-thingy that you can push. While rotating with the little brother move the horn to the 5th hole (counting from the left), and you should play some sweet tunes.

Love Birds
You re-united the two love birds.

This achievement is done it two steps. This is step two.

While you are at the inventors house you will encounter a telescope near a hang-glider as you move forward in the story. Walk up to it and interact with it to look around. You will look straight at a tower at the start but you want to turn it so you aim towards the bottom right where you will find a bunch of rose bushes. Zoom in (you need to zoom in close for the achievement to trigger) and you should find a bird sitting there on his own. If you linger a moment and just watch him the bird you released in Chapter One will show up and bring your achievement with it.

Call of the giants
You sounded a giant horn.

As you are walking in an area full of giants you will walk in a valley next to a giant crossbow. As soon as you see it take a turn out a side path and walk up to the giant horn and use it.

The last three achievements in the game are accessible in this chapter so it is time to get that 100%.

Behind the Curtain
You found a secret.

During Chapter Six you will be traveling by boat, and as you travel down the river you will see a bloodred waterfall. Steer your boat in behind it to trigger the achievement and see a secret.

Turtle Soup
You helped the turtles to the sea.

After you get out of the boat in Chapter Six there will be a giant turtle in a tiny lake. Near him there will be a sidepath that leads to an area with three smaller turtles (compared to the giant one).

To get the achievement you need to drag/push all three over to the slide that leads into the water on the side of the area. Once the last one hits the water the achievement is yours.

Whale Song
You practised singing.

Not long after you save the turtles you will encounter the woman that was in the boat again. Follow her till she stops next to a tree, and you need fo find something to use it to create a path.

At this point simply continue up the hill, walk past the saw and keep going along the edge until you climb up a small ledge and find a bench overlooking a lake. Move up to it and let both brother take a short break by sitting down on it and enjoy getting the last achievement in the game.
