Effectively disables automatic court pruning that was introduced for optimisation reasons with The Reaper's Due.

In the base game, courts receive fertility penalties and characters get pruned out of existence to improve performance late game. However, if you have a good CPU, you might prefer to be able to maintain a bigger court instead.

Only three defines are changed by this mod, and as such, it should be compatible with almost any other mods. However, it is not Ironman/Achievement compatible.

(Note: Technically, this does not completely disable pruning, but rather raises the minimum court size required for pruning to 150 [from 10] and for fertility penalties to 150 [from 30], and the minimum age a character can be considered 'irrelevant' to 100 [from 40]. This should be high enough to prevent it in 99% of situations.)

That sounds like bad luck with random death chance. It's rare, especialy for children, but it happens. That would not be what the mod prevents. Natural death chance for a 12 year old is 1 out of 10000, so realy unlucky. Characters that get pruned have no family.

This would affect said situation right? Or do only 40+ year old courtiers get culled? I figured she checked all the boxes for being 'cull-able' except the age parameter, so it triggered? I'm assuming 40+ year old courtier just get put on the chopping block sooner or something?

Awesome mod...I had a 6 y/o 'orphan girl' I was tutoring that got pruned so I came here to fix this awful mechanic. She had her own dynasty but no parents or relations, was raising her to be a lady of the court and she died at age 12 because of 'poor health'? Her traits were basically "young healthy vibrant child"...smh

Characters getting pruned out of existence... does that refer to the incredibly idiotic reality I just discovered that is Unlanded Courtiers disappearing upon death of my ruler and transitioning to his heir?

Same question as Strategos: How is this mod affected by the court changes in 3.1.1?

Per patch notes: "Added a limit and expenses tied to court size."

I'm not actually sure how to see this information ingame yet. I don't notice a new UI element or anything, but that could be from me not knowing where to look, or because this mod is interfering because it increases the limits.

Still would like to glean more information about things from someone much more knowledgeable than myself.

3.1.1 patch will have new court features and tweaks etc It'll be released today. Any update needed for your mods? or it's completely unneeded now?
