I don't do speed runs well but some like them so I thought I'd make one. The whole purpose is to see if you can shave a few seconds off the fastest run. Thanks for trying it out.

Nice and easy, my run http://youtu.be/gzczHS3KsI4 Cut 12 secs from beginning and 9 from ending and I done it in 2:18 even with loosing the ball in the water.

After some practice, I did it in 2:17 here's my demo https://www.dropbox.com/s/n7x4755f40cp7i2/shortspeedrun.dem . Nice reuse of the areas, could be done much faster with bunny hopping. I found a sort-of bypass that let me do it slightly quicker.
