Exception Beta v.0.95
+ all the required resources in its description.

The dream continues in Exception's near final beta release, adding more levels and playtime! Please see the original Exception file's description for more info.

Recently updated with a small bugfix update with following changes:

- Added subtitles for Dream Collapses and Madness Begins (for most things, anyway)
- Fixed players not being teleported after the intro cutscene in Dream Collapses
- Fixed some jump skips in Madness Begins
- Added new Sam voicelines for City of the End.
- Hotfix no longer needed.

CHANGELOG FROM VERSION 0.50 (PREVIOUS) TO 0.95:

- Added 2 new levels, The City of the End and The Peak of Insanity
- Added a new introduction scene to Dream Collapses
- Added a new unlockable credits level
- Added new player models for characters that are featured throughout the levels
- Added transitions between certain levels.
- Fixed a bug in Madness Begins where enemies would remain alive at the bottom of the room (added an abyss killer).

STUFF STILL MISSING FROM THIS RELEASE:

- A final battle
- Some tweaks and bugfixes to the latter 2 levels - they are effectively in beta
- Subtitles for Dream Collapses and Madness Begins (will be added for the final release).
- Updated Sephiroth model (still uses the old one but probably replaced by SFL's "Sexyroth").
- Additional multiplayer enemies (If playing in co-op, using higher enemy strenght settings is recommended)

Don't want to use the workshop? I've packaged a single gro file that contains both parts and the hotfix. You'll still need the SS2 Sounds Resource Pack + Mischievous NPCs linked in the original Exception file though.

Yes, side links wolud be nice! IMHO size limits for GRO is stupid. We never face such limitations in young Sam years in 2001 and next:)

Yeah that's my bad because some of the zips themselves contain the .gro files needed, so you have to open up the zip before you can extract the gro to the correct location. I would have liked to include everything on Steam in as simple as possible package, but unfortunately the Workshop has a size limit of 200 MB on individual submissions, and Exception in its entirety goes to something beyond 300 MB at least (possibly even near 400 MB). So can't do much about it other than create a bunch of confusing required resources unfortunately (although I do plan on merging the SS2 sounds pack to part 2 when I get the chance :P).

In my opinion the size limit for submissions should be raised to at least 400 MB to accommodate large mods and bigger games like Serious Sam 3 which use a lot of space for their maps.
