Beskrivelse
In all my years of playing games like Diablo 2 and Torchlight there were always two things that kept sparking my interest and made me come back to them every time, the loot and the skill combinations!
And so many times I found items unfamiliar to me, even after many years!

Torchlight 2 is the ultimate game in this genre, and the loot drops are plentiful, however because of that you will have found most rare and unique items after a few playthroughs.
This mod aims to change that for a bit, the goal is simple, to add more loot!

In this mod you will find a lot of totally new items, weapons, armour, even socketables are added at least once a week.
Also a lot of items can be found that may be familiar to you, taking inspiration from other games in the genre.
I emphasize inspiration here, you will not find any plagiarized or stolen items or artwork, everything is either from the original Torchlight franchise or HANDDRAWN!!

to my knowledge there is no other mod out there that has that, and I truly hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoy creating it.

Has it been confirmed now then that this mod doesn't work well with ember upgrade?

Thanks. I found a workaround.
Thrasher's belt for tons of money. Then a "boon" scroll. He has had several Nether DNA and black lotuses. I've even been able to synthesize a book of nether biology.
OH, about him - I used it just once and quit the game before he vanished. I always called him when trying to update my armor and I do that just when I'm about to logoff. I managed to use Boon's scroll 6 times or more without it vanishing. Apparently the counter resets if you quit the game before he vanishes. It only vanished when I called him three times in one level.

the outcome of rare weapons is AN outcome though, so that suggests that the recipe in fact works, probably just not as originally intended. did it say it would result in legendary items though? that seems a bit OP to me

from the top of my head the mod highest in the loading order will overrule the others, interference from ember gem upgrade is a possibility though because it also has to do with the crafting sytem, I'm sorry I can't be of more help...

I tried with another combination of chromosomes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, X, Y, Z - both times using ember granulate - and got two 'rare weapons'. Not even unique, just rare.
I have Thrasher's armory, below it is "Torchlight II Essentials" and below that is "Ember Gem Upgrade". could one of these be interfering? I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling. No difference. Could this be an actual glitch?

And I lost Chromosomes 1 through 4, but it didn't take 5,6,7 or 8 or the ember granulate.
Weird. Any ideas? Would knowing what each chromosome did, help? This time I took notes.

I've already gotten to the minehead again and am ready to try the Nether DNA Code again. I finally got one copy of all eight chromosomes. 1 each of 1,2,3 and 7, 2 each of 5 and 8, and 3 each of 4 and 6. Here we go. Will update you.
Oh and thanks again.
I will even be trying the lotus petals but so far I have
11 copies of 10% ice damage
8 of 35% ice damage
8 of 10% poison damage
7 of 35% fire damage
6 of 10% fire damage
4 of 35% spark damage
4 of 35% poison damage
and
0 of 10% spark damage

With the way things are running, I assume it might be a while before I find any of that rare 10% electrical damage. But there's no winning without effort.
