Description
This mod changes the durations of most spells to 5 minutes and durations with a longer cooldown than duration will be changed a bit differently.

I find it tedious to have to refresh every buff so often. Mostly I just forget to use some of them, especially the ones that only last 40 seconds. I felt that persistent abilities generally don't last long enough in Torchlight 2. It's a fast paced game, the constant individual rebuffing doesn't work too well for it in my opinion.

All the skills will have a cooldown of 10 seconds unless otherwise stated. This should make it a lot more relaxed with the buffs and make you feel powerful when you stack up a billion buffs all at once.

I've tried to keep a downtime on the buffs have a longer cooldown than duration like Elemental Boon and Dervish.

A list of all the changed spells:

Battle Rage: 5 minutes at all levels
Stormclaw: 5 minutes at all levels
Ice Shield: 5 minutes at all levels
Wolf Shade: 1,2,3,5 minutes for each tier. 1min Cooldown on all levels.
Forcefield: 5 minutes at all levels
Immolation Aura: 1 minute at level 1, +20 seconds per level up to 6 minutes
Elemental Boon: 5 minutes at all levels, 6 minutes cooldown.
Astral Ally: 1,2,3,5 minutes for each tier. Cooldown unchanged.
Repulsion Hex: 3 minutes duration at level 1 increasing each level up to 7.1 minutes.
Shadowmantle: 1, 1½, 2, 2½ minutes for each tier. Cooldown starts at 1 minute more than duration and goes down to 45 seconds more than duration at max level (decreases per level).

Retribution: 5 minutes at all levels
Dervish: 1 minute at level 1, + 1 minute per level. Cooldown is 1 minute more than duration except at last rank (6) where it's 30 seconds more than duration.
Elemental Overload: 5 minutes at all levels.
Elemental Protection: 5 minutes at all levels.
Haste: 5 minutes at all levels.
Draining Touch: 5 minutes at all levels, 6 minutes cooldown.


Any skills I should add to the list feel free to tell me. I haven't played a Outlander myself so I don't really know much about how their skills work. Downtime for the powerful abilities might need to be longer, feedback is very welcome.

My elemental overlord III is for 10 sec only with a cooldown of 20 sec for a mana cost of 29 and you c hanged it for 300 sec and I guess still 29 mana instead of 870 ? I would even add +25% mana cost because the makers wanted us to cast it often for a reason and it would be 1087 mana.

"make you feel powerful when you stack up a billion buffs all at once." 🙄 I'm searching a mod for these buff durations but I want them to stay balanced.

It will end in the heat of a battle and I will instant lose DPS.
I assume, i will just get perma buffs mod.

They are intended to be short, burst fight spells. Now I don't have a problem with violating this by extending the duration, but it doesn't seem to follow to maintain the cooldown on it, especially when the ratio of downtime is so greatly diminished. Basically, it would just make more sense to normalize all the cooldowns and just have all the durations up.

Anyway, I'll have to keep looking for the mod I want since this one doesn't have the Synergies buffs in it, but it looks pretty good so far. PM me if you ever update it to include Synergies. =)

Is it possible to reduce the cooldown time on the Shadow Wolf per-tier, in addition to what you have done? Since it lasts as long as the cooldown time now, the extended duration per-tier isn't much of an upgrade, whereas a cooldown reduction would help for when the wolf is killed in combat before its timer comes back. However, if that's not your intent, I understand.

Also, please add the Gun Bot and the Sledge Bot to this mod, as I have been avoiding using them due to their short duration. This mod makes playing a summoner not feel like a chore, I love it.
